Kimchi jjigae / キムチチゲ

Kimchi jjigae is a Korean spicy soup seasoned with chile pepper. It contains kimchi as well as other ingredients such as green onion, onion, tofu, pork, and seafood.

Sticky rice should be soaked in water at least 30 minutes prior to cooking,which improves the texture of the cooked rice by containing enough water to increase expansion of the grains. Then fried in butter oil before cooking in water.
